SCHOOL GIRLS OF 1870 MEET

13 Original Group Enjoy Reunion – By Bertha B. Brettell

Rock Creek, Oct. 20 – Mrs. Villa Van Orman who attended the East Trumbull School at one time, entertained at a chicken dinner, Saturday, Oct. 15, the School Girls of 1870 in that school.

Those present of this group out of the original 13 were Mrs. Milo Palmer of Andover, Mrs. Ella Fenton of East Trumbull, Mrs. Etta Clough and the hostess, Mrs. Villa Van Orman of Rock Creek.

Guests were J.H. Andrus of Painesville, whose wife was a member but who had passed on. Mr. Palmer and Mr. Loveland of Andover, and Miss Luella Fenton of East Trumbull. Miss Emily Bunnell was the teacher in 1870.
