"Jesse, after due consideration with the Lord went to see Old Mr. (Pray). The
old gentleman was in his field plowing and Jesse went to him and said, "You
know that the Lord has taken away your youngest child and he will be quite
likely to take you next if you don't let me have her for I believe it is His
will, and I know it is mine." The old gentleman replied, "If it is your and
Lord's will it is not mine." But jesse eventually married Polly, apparrently it
was the will of the Lord. Very little is know about this large family.
